Milled Speciality Mulberry Paper / Saa Paper

Highly specialised milled mulberry paper that contains added natural organic materials that give it a slightly textured finish and great aesthetic appeal. This 1030 series are good for covering, wrapping, screens, lampshades, laminating, greeting cards, scrapbooking and many other uses.
We use exactly the same raw materials (mulberry or saa) for our Specialty mulberry papers as for our handmade papers, but their appearance is more uniform and their consistency much denser, due to the drying and pressing process.

Milled mulberry paper from Thailand is also known in Japan as unryu and this name is occasionally used in the USA and Europe too.

Milled Speciality Jute Paper

We also have milled jute paper (1031 series) made from jute fibers. Jute Natural and dyed Jute Dark Green. If you like other dyed color, we will increase our color range per customer demand. This paper is also good for covering, wrapping, screens, lampshades, laminating, greeting cards, scrapbooking and many other uses.

Our milled speicality papers are made on a classic Fourdrinier type paper milling machine combined with a "Yankee" cylinder for drying.

After production of a large roll the milled paper is cut to exact sizes. Please note that in addition to our standard wrapping paper size of 50x70cm (19.5x27.5"), we can also supply you in any cut size up to 130cm (51") wide and any length. We can also supply milled speciality paper in rolls of any length up to 2,000 metres. For made-to-order cut sheets and rolls the minimum order is 2,000 metres per colour.
